Nails done, No problems.

The simple things always catch the eye  and sometimes are the greatest accessory. Nail polish is a cheap way to finish off an outfit just by matching the polish to your outfit. If you are like me and do not have the time or skill to paint your nails correctly you can get your nails done at a salon. A popular thing to get done is to get a full set of acrylics on which are also known as "Fake Nails". These fake nails can make your nails look uniform and full compared to nails that have been chewed on. When your nails grow out and there is a space between your nail and your nail polish that means that it is time for a fill.  This is where they add more acrylic to the nail and repaint it so it looks like a pair of fresh new nails on your hands. The only downfall with getting these nails is that after keeping them on for a while it ruins the top layer of your nail due to the force put on the nails and the glue keeping the plastic onto your real nail. These nails are about $30 to get on while a fill sometimes costs around $12-17 depending on where you go. \

If acrylics aren't for you, you could also try getting shellac nail polish. This type of nail polish is painted directly onto the nails and set in by a UV light. Shellac is a think shiny nail polish that does not chip and allows your nails to grow safely without ruining them. This type of nail polish has become more popular lately because it stays on the nail for 14 days so it is good for long business trips or vacations. To get this onto your nails it costs around $15-$20 every time you get a polish change. 

Many girls nowadays try and find a perfect nail design through pictures on the internet. This is seen mostly with acrylic nails because they are easier to put a design on. A popular nail design is to have either one nail or a few nails different from the rest, this is known as an accent nail. This can either be a different design or even a different color that contrasts the main color. One could also get a wide variety of colors or designs put onto the nail. Some popular designs are cheetah print, matte colored nail polishes and flowery designs. Getting a design on a nail can cost $3-$7 again also depending on the place getting them done.  

Nail polish does not have to be changed every time to math an outfit but if one has a nice set of nails on their hands they will be more confident when shaking peoples hands and talking to others. When people have dirty nails and dirty hands the other person may be distracted by how dirty they are or might not even wanna touch your hands at all.

Socks With Mocs

Moccasins are a shoe that can be worn by both guys and girls. They are usually a brownish tan color and kinda look like a boat shoe almost. The inside of the shoe is lined with a fluffy fur to insulate the feet and keep them warm. Moccasins first came about from the indians who made their shoes out of animal hide and lined with real animal fur. Their shoes were made to keep their feet warm during the winter seasons as moccasins do today.

The indians would embellish their moccasins with beads in different designs. Today moccasins are made of different patterned material instead of beads. Although these shoes can be very stylish people tend to ruin the look of them when they wear them with socks. First of all, the shoe is lined with fur so the shoe is already warm, why wear socks with it. Thats like putting a jacket on while its 90 degrees outside! It does not make any sense. Second of all, most the time when people wear the socks, they are a pattern that completely throws off the patter on the shoes. It clashes and takes away from the beauty of the shoe. Worst of all, when you first get a new pair of moccasins they are snug because the fur is new. As time goes on the fur gets warn down from wearing it but when you wear socks with the shoe it starts pushing the fur earlier. This means that when you decide you want to wear them without socks they are going to be bigger then normal!

If you are going to wear your moccasins in the winter don't forget to waterproof your shoes to protect the fabric from the salt and water stains. Waterproof spray can be purchased at almost any shoe store. If you do wear moccasins, double think before you decide to throw on a pair of socks with them.

The Wide Variety of Scarves

A scarf is a simple accessory that can change an outfit and complete it. Scarves have been worn for centuries now in a variety of different ways, patterns and styles. Currently people wear scarves to keep the neck area wam in the fall and winter seasons or just to spice up their outfit from looking so boring. Although it is a simple piece of cloth it can be worn differently based on the type of scarf. One of the most popular scarves of today would be the infinity scarf. 

The Infinity Scarf.

This scarf can be worn on your neck, shoulders or head to accessorize your outfit. The infinity scarf can come in many different lengths and depending on the length of the scarf depends on what you can do with them. The popular material made for this scarf in this season would be knitted wool but they can also be cotton, silk and other fabric materials.  These scarves can be purchased at almost any clothing store that sells scarves. The best part about this accessory is that it is not going to break your bank trying to get ahold of one of these. The general price range for these types of scarves would be around $10-$20.The most common way to wear the infinity scarf is the simple loop or pretzel way. This is when the scarf is placed around your neck and you twist and fold it over your head again so it creates two layers of scarf upon your neck. The name for the infinity scarf comes from its shape, a circle. The scarf goes on for infinity without having any ends to it. 

What is it that makes the infinity scarf such a popular accessory for girls rather than other scarves? For this question I would say that it has to do with the different ways in which you can wear this scarf. Personally, I have learned people come up with different ways to wear scarves everyday. My favorite from this scarf would be the shall or shrug. This way provides a little jacket almost to cover your shoulders while you go out to dinner or are just going out with friends. The scarf is very versatile from the many ways you can wear it but also when you can wear it. Not only can you wear it just going out with a few friends and you wanna stay bundled up but you can also add it to an elegant dress as a coverup or a shall.

Fall season

          It's that time of the year again ladies and gentlemen, the fall season. The cold air, football games and late night fires. Along with the typical fall season there is the usual outfits that will be seen. Thats right girls, the Uggs, North face and spandex. I never understood why this became such a prevalent trend through girls ranging from middle school girls to college to even adults. Although some may be critical of the "Yugga Face" (yoga pants, uggs and north face) season, I feel as though it is the perfect outfit for the fall season. The Ugg boot brand provides warm footwear to keep your piggies warm while you are out and is very versatile to fit with any outfit. The north face jacket are the perfect cold weather jacket because it is meant to keep the person warm with its thick layers while also being a very fashionable jacket with its sleek fit. Yoga pants or any spandex pants hug the legs almost like under armor and provide the person with warmth due to the spandex hugging the body so close. 

These brands of clothing can be rather expensive but there are alternatives to these that allow for the same fashion while keeping a pretty penny in your pocket. Ugg boots can be in the hundreds of dollars but the closest alternative would have to be a brand called bear paws. Their boots are almost identical to the style of Uggs but with a price in the $60-$80. That is a big price difference while still maintaining the common look of that boot. The North face brand is in the same boat as the Uggs for the price range of being in the high one hundreds almost two hundreds. A close brand that is a North face look alike is Columbia jackets. These jackets have slight variations to them from the North face but provide the same warmth as the North face and the sleek fit with a price in the $60-$80. Yoga pants or leggings on the other hand can be purchased anywhere but the most common brand that people buy are the Victoria's Secret Brand. Although these brand of spandex are comfortable their price is also $40-$50 for one pair. There are other brands at various stores such as Walmart or Target for significantly lower prices like $10-$20 for one pair.
